General Jury Duty Information
The Jury Commission is dedicated to ensuring a fair, efficient, and respectful jury process for all citizens. Our team works diligently behind the scenes to support jurors, the courts, and the community.
Our Jury Commissioners are appointed to oversee the jury selection process in accordance with Illinois law. They work to ensure the random and impartial selection of jurors, protect juror rights, and uphold the integrity of the jury system.

The Clerk manages day-to-day operations, handles juror correspondence, maintains records, and ensures compliance with jury laws and procedures. The Clerk also assists in coordinating court schedules with juror availability.
Our administrative staff provides direct support to jurors and helps manage logistics and communication throughout the selection and service process.

403 Elm Street,
Rockford, Illinois 61101
One block south of the current entrance, near the corner of Elm and Church. Across from the Winnebago County Administration Building.
