Human trafficking is a crime where someone is forced or tricked into working or doing sexual acts for money. The pressure can be obvious or hidden, and it can involve physical force or emotional control. If a child is used for sex in exchange for money or something of value, it’s considered human trafficking—even if no one used force or threats.
