17.00 Removal of Files 17.00 REMOVAL OF FILES The circuit clerk shall not permit files to be taken from the clerk's custody except by judges, court administrator, arbitration administrator, bailiffs, or official court reporters except under order of the court. Persons taking custody of files shall be required to notify the clerk by signing the file's charge-out card before removing files from the clerk's office. Said files shall be returned to the clerk's office promptly and in proper condition. Back to the Top
